Miniature Dim Sum
Entry for Peachtober 2025
For Peachtober I wanted to make a food inspired piece.
Having decided to go full stop-motion in order to fully showcase how wonderful and culturally beautiful dim sum really is.
Making these foods miniature was a complete delight and I’m always excited to be able to do it again.
The Making Of
The steamer basket were woven from tiny strips of paper.
Cabbage leaves were created from laminated layers tissue paper colored with marker.
Crafting the delicious Bao buns.
Stuffing the dumplings.
